  As I was walking back to get my test done, the tech asked what insurance I have, told her, she said, Oh that' a good insurance. Your insurance pays for 3D imaging, do you want that? I asked the difference, she said you have dense breasts and it will show more. I said OK if the insurance covers. I received a bill. Called UIA to discuss, they told me I signed the waiver that I will pay for the difference. BE AWARE. UIA bill 50.00 Hospital bill 50.00. Insurance has always paid 100% for the mammo. Shame on me for not realizing I was being coaxed into having to pay for doing the 3D imaging! I will not be returning. Do not sign the anything saying you will pay for the balance of what the insurance won't pay.

  Just like all these other reviews, they turn your account over to collections as soon as they get payment from insurance. They won't talk to you about your bill, won't send you a copy of your bill, just tell you to talk to the collection agency, and the collection agency charges you $5.95 to pay your bill, even if it's just $11. Amazing!

  this company billed me for $40 ,when my insurance had paid for it,and they still billed me,i sent them a money order for 40 and months after i receive another bill for 40 and threats to send me to collection,what a joke!!! they make their money from stealing and charging money people dont really owe.i am livid
